We use a number of learning and assessment tools to customize the best solution to meet your needs and to support the growth of individuals, teams and organizations. The following are just a few tools that we integrate into our processes:
Five Elements of Primary Health Care ©2010 Primary Health Care is comprehensive and complex. To provide clarity about this concept and the factors that support its delivery, Barefoot Facilitation and Development has created a framework called the Five Elements of Primary Health Care. The Five Elements of Primary Health Care consists of two tools:
Both tools can be downloaded for use during presentations, workshops or staff orientation: We also deliver customized or ‘off the shelf’ presentations and half-day workshops around the Five Elements.
Personality Dimensions® is based on leading-edge research in human motivation and behavior. It helps to explain the behaviour and temperament of different personalities and contributes to building self-awareness, self-esteem, and effective communication strategies. The Personality Dimensions® tool is presented through a fun, lively, interactive workshop that makes learning memorable and easy to apply. The tool utilizes color-coded picture cards to represent the four major personality strengths and preferences:
Each participant receives a copy of the PD In Action take home booklet. This handy booklet includes brief descriptions of: core needs, characteristics, strengths, skills, weaknesses, likes, and various other areas for each of the four temperaments. For more information go to www.personalitydimensions.com Personality Dimensions® is a registered trademark of Career/LifeSkills Resources Inc.
The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) is the world’s best-selling instrument for understanding how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics and for learning how to select the most appropriate style for a given situation. The easy-to-use, self-scoring tool is fast and powerful. You select responses from 30 statement pairs to discover which conflict handling style is your preferred "mode”. Interpretation and feedback materials help you learn about the most appropriate uses for each mode and how to increase your comfort level with your less-used modes. The five styles are:
Used as a stand-alone tool by individuals, in a group learning process, or as a part of a structured workshop, the TKI is useful in conflict resolution, enhancing communication, performance improvement, stress management, and team building.
The Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles inventory provides a simple way to assess and understand your own learning style (and the learning styles of others). Interpretation helps you to apply individual learning styles when creating experiences that match people's preferences – in learning and work environments.
